Dongxin Zou is an Assistant Professor in History of Science at the Hong Kong Polytechnic University who specialises in modern Chinese history. Her research focuses on the history of medicine, health technology, and the transnational networks of material circulation and knowledge production in the Global South. She is currently writing a book that explores the history of Chinese medical missions to postcolonial Algeria, focusing on the exchange of technologies, drugs, and medical practices.
